Like other swimming pools in the Netherlands, we have a waiting list for swimming lessons. Thanks to the Dutch invention Fibby, children from the age of 2 can already start practicing. The Fibby is an innovative swimming aid that helps young children to become self-reliant in and around the water with the help of their parents. We think that it is especially important for children between the ages of two and four, if they have not yet taken swimming lessons, to work on self-reliance. The nice thing about the Fibby method is that parents can do this themselves with their child. So more self-reliant, more water-free and soon with confidence to swimming lessons!
Come and try out Fibby in swimming pool De Meerkamp with Kira Toussaint!
Together with Olympic swimmer Kira Toussaint, we invite parents and children (2-6 years) to come and discover Fibby. On Thursday 5 January she will give a Fibby swimming clinic together with Fibby trainers. Fibby is an innovative swimming aid with learning app, with which parents playfully teach children (2+) how to save themselves after a fall in the water. In the end even without Fibby! By having fun, you feed your child's self-confidence, which in the meantime unconsciously becomes more and more self-reliant.
Click here to register for the clinic with Kira Toussaint with us in the Meerkamp on Thursday 5 January at 11:00 am.
Space is limited, participation costs only € 5,- for a parent and a child.
“I didn't expect a 2-year-old child to be able to move independently through the water!”
