AquaGym is the "dry" gym in the water. You do the same exercises with water fitness equipment as in a gym. The advantage is that you use the resistance of the water. The exercises are therefore heavier than if you would perform them on the side. Your body weighs only one sixth of the weight in the water. So you train your muscles with much less strain on your joints.
During the AquaGym you can train both cardio (lane swimming) and strength (on the equipment). There are control cards for using the devices, so that you can compose your own workout at your own level. There are exercises for all muscle groups.
30 minutes of AquaGym burns about 600 calories. This is the same as an hour and a half of regular fitness, but much less taxing, so ideal!
