The Zwem4daagse from 21 to 24 June 2022 was a great success. On Tuesday 21 June, the Zwem4daagse was opened by mayor Tjapko Poppens and former Olympic and world champion open water swimming Maarten van der Weijden.
The whole week we swam for charity. The participants were sponsored in order to raise money for cancer research through the Maarten van der Weijden Foundation. AmstelveenSport has doubled the amount and a total of 3,656 was raised! We thank everyone for their participation and enthusiasm. We look back on a very successful week.
